LIVE & ONLINE: CSPAN's "BOOK TV" FEATURING ORGANIZED MONEY
When Adam Moss and I were roommates our first year at Oberlin College, he inspired me with his passion for and knowledge of social justice movements. I was more interested in literature and art.
He knew then he wanted to be a magazine editor—in particular, editor of the New York Times Magazine, New York magazine, or both. I vaguely imagined I would be a journalist, write novels, or both.
He was right. I was not.
So it was fun to sit down with him at Little City Books in Hoboken, NJ, on November 7th to talk about Organized Money. He asked smart, sometimes probing, questions. He is one of the sharpest journalistic minds around so he managed the book’s challenging take on capitalism, market fundamentalism, money muscle, and restorative capitalism with curiosity that brought new insights for everyone in the store, including me.
The conversation, which is now available online, turned out to be a great overview of the book, the issues, and the Organized Money Campaign. Please share it to help open the conversation about the future of American money and power as we begin a new decade in a high-stakes time.
